Activities in Our Area
class="large">McCarthy is known for the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Kennecott Historic Mines. But that is not all! We have lots of opportunities for a variety of outdoor activities. Check them out and then book your guest house with us for your entire stay. We know that you'll find lots to do here and that by the end of the day you'll be worn out. In fact, most of our guests stay for two nights and we heartily recommend that. If you make the effort to get out here, spend the extra night and really get to enjoy all that we have to offer. Email us - currantridge@gmail.com - to make your reservations or go to our 'Rates and Reservations' page to submit a reservation request.
This year we'd like to point you to something entirely new in the McCarthy area that you might just find to be the most exciting activity you've done. Our friends Fred and Ann Dure have developed an adventure at their beautiful home over looking the Nizina River valley. Check out their website here - Alaska Boreal Canopy Tours - and then give them a call.
